Hello,

We have the extended workflow module 10.0 newly being installed in our sandbox. Since there are a set of add-on modules like XML extension, XML workflow interchange, PDF forms, Electronic signatures; would anyone know/could suggest some basic test scripts to validate the functionality of these modules.

That is kind of a loaded question. If you installed it one would think that you needed it for something so for what its worth one liners to give you some context

XML WF extensions- Adds many steps in a workflow palette.Originally developed by OT for their professional services people who could not code but had to configure most often asked things like how would you push attributes not to the attachment but to the items inside attachments.Look in KB for Eric Saavedra he is the guy who writes some good stuff for it.Easy ways to format emails execute sql, permissions push etc are its capabilities.Supai ,GCI all make better products than this. You can see that a map made with XMWFIC looks very crazy in my org

XML WFIC- allows a workflow step to interact with a http webserver. An alternative years back when web services weren't the norm

PDF Forms-Just like HTML forms some company's use acrobat distiller or similar to have PDF forms cleaner for printing and seeing
Esign- Is a workflow solution that caters to 21 CFR11 requirements.Simply put it will allow wet stamping, water marking, signature affixing etc .The documentation includes as maple workflow with which you can test.Fastman's cosign connector is touted as a better alternative

You do not have to validate the functionality of these.OT has been marketing them for years so if it did not work then they would not be able to sell it.use what you seem fit in those would be the proper approach.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?

Thank you!!
When I say validate the functionality, its not doubting the actual functionality of the product; but rather just to make sure that the module installation & configuration in our environment has been done properly. All I was looking for is some high level testing scenarios
which gives an assurannce that the modules are behaving as it should...(having said that, I am well aware that I should understand its basic functionality; but trying my luck here if anyone had a similar test scenario run previously:)
