Extended Absence Greeting plays but does not disconnect caller 1

Is there an attribute in the COS or system to allow/disallow the extended absence greeting functionality to play the greeting, then the system prompt saying "good bye", and then disconnecting the caller (which has worked properly for many years)? Instead callers hear the prompt "please enter another extension number...
 
If this is a Octel 250/350 or an old Octel product. Set the Extended Absence value to 1 in the COS. This will block any new messages.
 
If this is an Octel 200/300, attribute 4 will disconnect caller after playing the greeting.
 
I failed to mention this is a 300XL system. So attribute 4 in the COS will turn on the prompt saying "good bye" and disconnect the caller?

Attr#4 overrules all other attribs in the COS.
