extend cat 5 or phone line 1

I need to extend my dsl modem by 100ft. I can either extend the dsl phone line or the cat 5 Ethernet. Which one should I extend without affecting my network peformance? I do not want to go wireless for this. I was informed that ethernet performance degrades more compared to phone line.

Your DSL phone line may degrade if you are over 12,000 feet from the CO, the Ethernet limit is 328 feet. 100 feet is less than either.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

thanks I will purchase the DSL phone line extension to get it the dsl router closer to the firewall and the rest of the main devices
