Ext address pointing to internal server

I have a local domain of mpl.local. I have an external address of mail.mpl.com that points to our exchange server. This all works for external users. What do i need to do on my internal DNS so that is respond to internal request of mail.mpl.com and point it to the exchange server

internal mail is delivered by Exchange not SMTP so it doesnt use DNS. You just type the user's name.

We have salesmen come into the office who mainly connect via POP3 from home. But when they come in to the office they still need to be able to connect via pop3.

This is simple. You just create a forward lookup zone on the DNS server inside your network called mpl.com and add host records for mail,

http://www and

whatever else you need them to be able to access whilst on the inside.
