Hopfully this is simple! I have a text box in my form that is (or was) bound to table1. I need that textbox to calculate info that is in provided in two other text boxes on my form. In Control Source I have an expression: = QTYAdjusted*UnitCost. This returns the correct information in the form, but now my data does not transfer to the table. What am I doing wrong? Should this expression take place in an event instead of the Control Source?

Thanks john.heeley@home.com

You should not store the value in the table. This is in violation of the Forms of Data Normalization(attributes should not be dependent on other attributs). Simply re-calculate the value everywhere it's needed. In this way you are assured of only displaying the correct value based on the most recent changes in your data.
