Hi there

I am building an expression and I want to enable ([ReportDataFile.T160])to be outputed in bold in my application.: Any ideas if there is a charcter or function to do this?

IIf([ReportDataFile.T150] > 0, Format([ReportDataFile.T150], "£###,###")&chr$(10)&chr$(13)&chr$(10)&chr$(13), "") & Format([ReportDataFile.T160], "£###,###")&chr$(10)&chr$(13)&chr$(10)&chr$(13)

Although you have not made it clear - I think you are working in Reports - Yes ?

Access does not allow you to change the font format of characters within a txtcontrol in that way that you can with Excel

If you need a whole control to be bold you can use controlName.FontWeight = 700 ( Bold ) in code, but without resorting to importing fancy VB6 txtbox controls then that is about your only option.

Need help with expression builder in REPORTS, the problem is as follows where NAME is the person covering sectors on the right side:
name 1 auto, aerospace, banks
name 2 auto, chemicals, financials
name 3 banks, chemicals
name 4 financials

in Reports: the criteria is - Like "*" & [Please enter your sector] & "*" - after entering the sector e.g. auto, name 1 and name 2 appears.
MY PROBLEM is that in the Report (in the unbound box) i would like to have appeared only AUTO and not AUTO, AEROSPACE, BANKS.

Thx for helping me.
