exposure in Oracle Apps

Hi Everybody,
I am working with Oracle database and D2K for last five years and I have experience of working in manufacturing unit of around nine years. Now I am interested to get exposure in Oracle Apps. Can anybody suggest me a short cut way. To take a course would be too expensive for me.

Help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
