I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer for. I have created a report that will need to be used as an eligibility file - it is 800 characters wide, and each column is of fixed length. I am using 9.0, and when I export to text, it drops off everything after 22.75 inches of data (Crystal confirmed this is working as designed). What is my best export method to create this file?

If changing font size or the "characters per inch" option are not viable alternatives, consider using one of the 3rd-party tools listed at:
For example, my CUT Light User Function Library (UFL) allows you to append text to a text file (and create the file if it doesn't already exist) by simply creating a formula and placing it in a report section.

hth,
- Ido

CUT, Visual CUT, and DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Can you provide me with an example of how I should set my font size and then the appropriate characters when I export?

Thank you!
