i am exporting a report that has about 20 different fields , when i export there are blank rows and columns. how can i export this without skipping rows or colums

Depends on your version of Crystal.

If there's a data only option in the export try that.

Otherwise it's an issue of how you lay out the report.

Often times I will use a parameter to ask whether they intend to export to Crystal and conditionally suppress sections to allow for this.

Then the data only option should work for your exporting, depending upon the layout of the report.

Crystal tends to create merged cells and empty columns between the fields, which is part of your issue, I suggest that you consider a section with the columns laid out alongside each other which is suppressed unless they choose Yes to a parameter prompt, and them unsupress it and suppress all other sections.

data only is working but some of my column headers have two text objects ,one above the other, only the one below is showing , not the top text object, it isnt showing up on the export at all

should i put the column header into one text object? or can i keep it as 2 text objects and have them both show up on the export
