Exporting to Excel - Extra Rows Created

Using Crystal 8.5

When exporting from Crystal to Excel 7, an extra row appears between each row. I have tried aligning all the fields and fitting the section,and ensuring that "can grow" is not checked, but I still get the extra rows.

I'm looking for any other ideas re what to look for that would be causing the extra rows.

Make sure all the sections not needed(such as Group Footer) is suppressed. You can do this in Design section of report, just right click section and select Supress.

Yep, I missed suppressing one field that I had dragged closed while working. Thanks.

In 2003, there was a change in Crystal 8.5 exporting that improved it a great deal. If your export-choice says things like Excel Extended rather than MS Excel 97, then an update should fix it. I assume 'BO' still have them for Crystal 8.5 customers.
