Exporting to DV

I have a AE project that I want to export to my XM1 via Firewire so I can then export it to Video Tape. How can this be done.

I have tried exporting it as .DV and then inserting it in to Premiere and the Printing to Video, but after about 3 mins, it starts to go jerky, I suppose because the file is so big?? My project is about 30 mins in length.

try exporting as .avi or .mov using a DV codec and then bring it into Prem. 30 mins is quite a big file but Prem should be ok with it if your computer/operating system is...

What are your specs?

Yeah I finally came to that conclusion and it worked fine. I exported as a QUICKTIME movie with the DV codec. The AVI version came out really jerky. Strange though that it didn't work as a DV stream. I have a P4 2Gig with 512mb of RAM, so I thought that would be enough to handle it.
