Exporting Reports/Subreports to Excel

Hello Again!
Netware 4, Sql 7, CR v8, extracting info via ODBC, from Maximo 4I.
I have a report in Crystal that pulls a great amount of information from our data base. A subreport was set up to pull information where a particular field is null(blank).
When the subreport is run in Crystal there are multiple lines of data. When it is exported to Excel '97, the main report reflects all info, but the subreport only reflects one line of data.
Any ideas on a fix, or are we just asking it for too much?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
