I have Created Crystal Reports and using them through FoxPro Program exporting to text file. The report text file when created and opened on my pc and few other pcs with Crystal Reportwriter installed on them everything looks fine. When reports are created on some other pcs which do not have Crystal Reportwriter installed on thier pcs then the text file do not have enough width and one field overlaps other field. Though I have greated these reports in Landscape Orientation they still do not have enough width. In short they shrink in width on which Crystal Reportwriter is not installed. Can anyone help me?

This may not be what you are looking for, but I have encountered something similar using CR7 - report formats getting shrunk or misaligned on other computers. It turned out that the default printer settings and driver were different on the computers. Make sure that you have similar printer settings on each computer. The CR documentation has some tips developing reports that display properly on multiple computers with different printers.

Another option is to compile the report while in the report designer. Users who do not have CR installed can use the compiled report (they can't change it, but they can refresh the data); they will have to install some files, but CR builds the installation for you when you compile the report.

Thanks for your help. But it does not work out. It seems that problem is not with printer setting or driver as text file created by my pc prints report ok on any printer or from any pc. File created on some of the pcs are shrunk in width. Even if you open them in Notepad or Wordpad this report.txt file do not have enough width which I get it if reports are created by pc. Can you suggest something else? :-I

Try exporting the report to Rich Text Format rather than text. Mostly Rich Text Format preserves format of the report rather than Text. This may solve the problem. After exporting, you can open Rich Text File in Word to view the contents
