Is there an easy way to dump data from a public folder to a txt or csv file? If I try to export from the Outlook client, I only have the ability to export personal folders or mailbox folders. Copying the public data to a personal folder seems time consuming and wasteful.

Thanks,
Mike

Not really. Are you trying to extract a particular set of information, or are you doing a backup?

Sorry for the delay...We have several thousand contacts in a public folder and I would like to import the data into a database. I know I can just copy the entire public folder to a new local folder then run the export, yet am wondering if there is a way to avoid waiting for the copy.

Thanks,
Mike

What database? Access 2002 can import directly from Exchange/outlook.

Does Access 2002 have the ability to pull from Exchange?!?! I am shamed to admit I didn't even think of using Access. Thanks for the quick answer.
