Hi,

I have a large MS Project file (9mb) with different views. Is there a way (other than screen-print into Word / PowerPoint) that I can export / copy a selected gantt-chart view from MS Project (e.g. the timelines / milestone icons etc) so I can send to other people to view?

The key requirement is not so much to provide 'view access' to MS Project plans for those who do not have MS Project, but I want to provide access to a selected gantt view without sending the whole MSP file because it is so large. I can only export the table data using the export maps.

Thanks

What version of Project? Project 2010 and Project 2013 can print views to PDFs. For earlier versions, download a free PDF printer.

That's a good tip - please have a star!

Thanks!

Unfortunately it is 2007. We are having problems with PDF printing also at the moment since our network upgrade to Windows 8, but will continue to see if that can be resolved as that solution would be ideal.

Cheers.

See if the Copy Picture button on the toolbar gets you what you need. PDF is still my choice, but in the meantime, that may work.

Thanks - yea that is a good interim solution.

Cheers.
