Hi...

I have filtered some data copied from another table in a DB to a new table in the same DB and then exported this temp table to a new .mdb file.

When I open the new DB the yes/no data has changed format to -1/0.

So far I have used DoCmd.TransferDatabase to export but how do I export it whilst maintaining the yes/no format of the data and not the -1/0.

Cheers.

The values that are stored are actually the same. I use only controls on forms and reports to display the various formats. Is there a reason you are concerned about the way a value displays in a table?

Hey...

I'm using the db with asp code saying if table.field = yes then display or filter returned content. say for a search field...

If I leave them as -1 and 0 would the asp code still pick up those differenes?

Try it. My experience suggests you can use -1/yes/true and 0/no/false. I generally use -1 and 0 in queries and sometimes in code will use True and False. I rarely use Yes and No but they all should work.
