I am trying to create a list of all of the distribution lists (from an Exchange 5.5 server) along with the respective members. I'm looking to export this data into an Excel spreadsheet or Word document. Does anyone have any tips on how to does this efficiently?

You can use the Directory Export tool from Exchange Admin.
You can select to only do the distribution list. It will export it to an ASCII file that you can then import into excel.

Thanks for the feedback Michaël.

The only problem I have had with using the Directory Export tool is that the file that is created is not very user friendly. It takes a bit of fine tuning to get the .csv file readable. Is there a more concise, organized way or printing the DL with the users in those lists other than doing a cut and paste within each DL as Microsoft suggested or using the Directory Export tool?

Thanks, Vincent.

Try exporting it to a txt file (delimited ascii)
It should import a lot better in Excel.
