Exporting issues in Excel

I was searching for a solution to a problem I have exporting a report with a subreport into an Excel (data only) file. In my search, I found this thread which mentioned a possible bug/fix

I am curious to know if someone has followed up on this particular issue and if there is a patch from BO that might resolve it (or if it is resolve in BO XI)?

Today i experienced the same problem. I searched about this issue on Business Object's website.
According to them the problem is caused when you have older version of "u2fwordw.dll" file which is used for exporting.
But in my case i have only one file and the version# is also uptodate and i still am experiencing this problem. So not sure what else is missing here...

Try starting a new thread.

CR 9 ushered in new exporting, and many things were fixed, while others broke.

I just exported using CR XI with a subreport in the report footer using the Excel Data Only option and everything came through.

So start a new thread, post what software you are using, which Excel export, and what your actual problem is.
