Hi guys,

Im having problems on this one pc when i try to export reports from ACCPAC to excel. the crystal reports run well and when exporting to excel all seems fine but when i try to open the excel file, microsoft excel crashes (with that microsoft send error report message). I have tried reinstalling everything from scratch on that pc but i still get the same error. Whats funny is that this happens only on that machine.

Check that Macro security in Excel is set to low on that machine

I have tried setting macro security low but excel still crashes! After running the report from ACCPAC i get a crystal report displayed on the screen, when trying to export to excel from there, the excel options i have are:
excel 2.1
excel 3.0
excel 4.0
excel 5.0
excel 7.0
excel 7.0 extended
excel 8.0
excel 8.0 extended
And the option I usually choose is excel 8.0 extended but on this machine excel crashes!
If i choose excel 2.1, it works but some formats get lost in the worksheet.

Had this once when memory was low because so many other windows were also open. You may want to check that ather Accpac and Excel windows as well as other apps are closed.

Try opening the exported Excel file on another computer and see if it does the same.

I can assure u all that i tried opening the file with all other windows closed and still had the same problem. Im running office xp and when i try to open the same file exported from that machine on another machine, the file does open but with the message that "excel renamed invalid sheet name".

we do have the same problem but to all our PCs, where using small business 5.3A. the crash usually happen when we tried to export the report from Inventory Reconciliation under I/C Physical Inventory, I tried already to put on the lowest macro security, but still crashes.
