I use Contacts Folders to make a contacts list for specific projects. When I print these as cards the list looks great. But, I would like to share these with the project members.

I have tried the export functions, but they lose the nice card format. The only method that comes close is exporting to pdf. But, then my Project members can not readily keep the file updated or make corrections.

Any ideas. Thanks ..Steve

Steve50,

Why not share the contacts or folders with your co-workers? If your project members have access to Outlook, then allowing them access to your contacts folder or these subfolders would be the easiest method. In lieu of that, you could export your contacts folder to a personal folder (*.pst) file and send it to them. Then they would have them available. Or you could send them an email message with the various cards inserted into it, which would insert vCards which they could double-click and save as they see fit.

Hope this helps.

All good suggestions...

If you have Exchange Server, why not put your Contacts List into Public Folders where it can be accessed by all project members then have only one database to maintain?

Additionally, if members right click on the Contacts List>Select Outlook Address Book tab>click Show Folder as Address Book, they can use list to address messages.

No Exchange? Designate one member to maintain the database then send edited contacts as VCards to members who will Open and Save edited and or new Contacts into their own Contacts List.

Anything to keep data management to a minimum and reduce duplicate databases.

Thanks for the suggestions. Since I am working with low tech groups in farm and forestry, I will try the paste v-card approach. Steve
