hello I have never used macromedia director but i have heared that with macromedia director its possible to export an html website and record it to a dvd so you can play the website on your tv, its this possible?

If its possible could i export a complete website on php and mysql to a dvd and play it on tv?

If all of these is possible could you recomend me a tutorial.
thanks for you attention..

You can't "play" your website on a DVD player. PHP and MySQL? - impossible. DVD player is for video (and stills) playback, it's not a computer.

You can however put your website on a DVD-ROM and view it from a computer. It's just a bigger capacity CD-ROM. You don't need Director for this; just put your HTML as it is. (Obviously you cannot run MySQL from it though.)

Thanks you its obivios you are right about php and mysql,
i have a whole website donde with flash and html
how can i export it to a dvd and play it,could you recomend me some tutorials?
thanks for your attention.

If you want a DVD for a DVD player, first you will need to capture your website as a movie or a series of stills. Then use DVD authoring software such as Encore (PC) or DVD Studio (Mac) to burn a DVD. The result will not be interactive, but linear playback like normal DVD movie.

If you want a DVD for a computer, use disc burning software such as Nero (PC) or Toast (Mac) to burn the website on the disc. It's the same as burning CD-ROM.
