Hi,
I'm fairly new to crystal reports..I need to know if there is a way by which clicking on the export button on the activeX report viewer, would open the mail client thereby enabling me to send the report as a mail attachement..?

Thanks.

When you click on the Export button a small dialog box will open with 2 drop-down boxes.

In the Format box you select the export format (RTF, Excel, etc.). In the Destination box you can select MAPI.

If you choose something like RTF / MAPI and click OK, a new dialog box will come up to ask you for a recipient and a mail message. Your exported report will be attached and sent when you click OK on this window. Brian J. Alves

Thanks for the reply.
But, When I click on the export button, I get the file save as dialog that lets me export the report to any of the formats in the "save as type" box.

I fogot to mention: I'm the same person that initiated the thread, my handle has changed...
