I am trying to use a button to export a report to Excel and everything seems to work apart from the columns aren't in the same order.

They don't appear to be in alphabetical, table or query order!

Am I missing something really obvious here?

Thanks

Kev

Hi Kev,

How exactly are you exporting the report? There are many ways.

Just f.y.i, did you know that you can export to a portable report viewer called Snapshot?

Well, I have created a query to create a new table which I then want to input some new data into. This new table then has an outut to Excel button which does that.

In the wrong order!!

If you export the table as a report or snapshot it's exactly as it should be.
