Hi all,
I'm using a report created in CRXI-R2 as an automatically generated change control form which runs each time a change control ticket is logged.
The automated side of the report runs fine and exports to word with no problems but unfortunately in the original template there are four fields which need to be manually filled in as the data does not exist in the database.
I can provide for this to some degree with fixed sized text fields but I'd like to know, is there a way to export to a word document template file so the fields can be set to grow to accomodate the text that is manually filled in.
If not, does anyone know any other way to accomplish this?
Many thanks.

Couple of ideas:

Create 4 parameters in the Crystal Report.

Or, you might generate a Word template which opens and reads from your exported document using an autostart macro.

Thanks K,

I'll give this a try as the fields would only ever be filled in after the report is created.
