I need to export the results of a query to a txt file that has each record on a new line with no commas, quotes etc.

I can't seem to figure out how to get this to work.

Any Suggestions

THANKS!!!!
Sarah

A quick Copy (Query) & Paste (to Notebook) should be all you need to do.

However, you could write a small function using the OutputTo Action/Method.

Sorry I wasn't clear this needs to be automatic so a user can press the button and it is created, I don't know how to write it.

Thanks

Hello Sarah,
If I understand what you are asking then you can do this in a macro. Select the TransferText in the Action column of the macro and fill in the properties on the bottom then save the macro. Next on the form create a button and on the "On click" event attach the macro that you just saved. To test it in form view click the button and see the result on the path that you have designated.
Hope that helps you.
