Export report to Excel - Column order

Hi

When I export a report to Excel the columns come thru in a different order to the order on the report.

Can anyone tell me how to set the column order for the export?

I'll guess it's in the order of the RecordSource (Table or Query).

No?





 
Doesn't seem to be that unfortunatly, but thanks for your post :)
 
Hmm, it works for me.

I am using Access2002. When I export I am looking at the query in datasheet view. If I change the column order and save it, then export to Excel (97/2002) and check "Save Formatting" the column order reflects the datasheet view.

Setting the order in design view does not help in export.
