Export problem

Hi,

I have developed a VB application which opens crystal reports. When I am exporting I get the following error:

Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

This does not prevent the report from being exported but since Microsoft Outlook is the default mail client on my PC I think it is unnecessary!

Any ideas?

In order for the email export, you need to have a live MAPI session running. You may want to create one in your app rather than rely on Outlook

I understand your suggestion but I am not exporting to email so I shouldn't need a MAPI session!

Anyhow, is it possible to direct me on how to create a MAPI session in my app?

I tried to use the Microsoft's MAPISession control and used the method 'signOn' before I opened the report but the problem persisted. Is there anything else I should do?
