I thought you could export the Personal greetings from the mailboxmanager URL but it doesn't seem to be the case. (At least it's not in BCM Release 6)
Going into the mailbox manager and then into Greetings and Spoken Name and clicking on the Voice... button I have the option to import a new greeting file or to connect to an extension and record a new greeting but there are no export links like in the Callpilot manager for Company greetings and spoken names.
So where did the export feature go (previous threads seem to indicate it was exactly the same process for personal greetings in the mailbox manager as in the callpilot manager)
Any alternative methods for exporting users personal greetings? Nothing in Callpilot desktop messaging for greetings.
Can they be ripped off the hard drive if I stick it in a USB enclosure? Any hints on what folder structure and filenames to look for?
Can I extract something from backup files without restoring the whole thing?
I tried to extract the settings via the data migration manager tool that you would use to suck out the data from a BCM400 when upgrading to a BCM450 but it doesn't get anything when you point it at a BCM450 as the source.
I got all the recorded names via the callpilot manager mailbox delete/change screen where you can download the recorded names but I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why Nortel would not have a place to download the greetings too.
