Hello;
we have a bunch of files that were created in pagemaker- (employee manuals, handbooks, etc- like one jpeg logo on each page, but lots of text placed in crazy ways- i have found it very hard to make changes, without having to then change the formatting, spacing, almost redoing the whole document, etc :()
is there a way to export them (i would just want the text, i can redo any formatting) into a microsoft office program.
thank you!

i'm sorry, i forget to say the files were made in:
pagemaker 5, 6.5, and 7. thanks

PM is page layout, and accepts text and images from other applications. Exttracting the text and images has constraints, but can be done.

PM7 will open all PM5, P65 and PMD formats.

You can export the text, block by block, by selecting it wth text tool, then clicking File -> Export -> Text.

Make sure you check "Entire story".

If you don't have access to PM, then you have problems.
