Export of memo fields

When we set-up the maintanance database a couple years ago we have several memo fields to document the equipment's failure information and corrective actions. Now we are trying to export that data for analysis and our engineer uses excel or access to look at the data. The export feature of Paradox omits the memo fields.

Is there anyway to export the memo field's data along with the other record's data fields into a wide, comma delimited flat file for reimport into excel or access?

Thanks in advance,
Bill

Use a tcursor to open the table, then a textstream to write each field/record in turn.

I'm not sure I'd try to use a comma for delimiting, though. Make sure your memo fields don't have any commas first.

I've had the best success with tabs to separate fields, and nothing to surround each field.
