I'm trying to export a table with memo fields to a fixed width text file. I need the columns to be exported with a particular, set width because I'm going to create an input file to use with it on another database. When I click on the Advanced button, I want to set it to the maximum width possible for a memo field, even if the field is not that wide. Is this possible? Do you know what the max width is?
When I try to set the field widths to a really large number (64000) it takes it but when I click on the Advanced button, it resets the number to a smaller number (but a different number for each memo field). I'm using Access 97.
