I am trying to export a logo for my web page. Each time the background page gets exported with the image. I have the page setup with no background and the export background turned off in the options.
What am I missing?
Thanks
Mike

I assume you are exporting your graphic as a GIF image. Make sure you have transparency indicated by either using the eyedropper tool in the GIF export window or select the colour to be transparent in the palette in the Gif export window. Only Gif and Png can have transparency.

Pixelchik, thanks for the response. I tried your directions and still get the background exported with the image?
I have a pattern background on my web page and just want to drop a logo in. What I get is the image plus a white background

what version of CorelDraw do you have? I am using CorelDraw 11.

Okay,

Go to File>Export, and select Gif as the format, color should be paletted (8bit), optimized, hit OK. Then you should be at the Gif Export window. Ensure that Transparecncy is Image Color and use the eyedropper tool to select the white background of your image and hit okay. That's all there is! Hope that works for you.
