Hi,

I'm trying to export inventory information using the Export Job Maintenance(Visual Integrator) but I need to get one field is not in the "default" Data Available fields, the LASTLEADTIME. This field is into the Vendor Item.

In the job maintenance, into the Configuration Tab, I pressed the LINK FILES button and I added the VendorItem with the KEY EXPRESION "DIVISION_NO+PRIM_VENDOR_NO+ITEM_NUMBER"

but, when I go to the DATA tab, I cannot see the table that I linked, is there an additional step to do for this?

thanks!

VI export? Why on earth would you do that. VI is the last thing I would use. Use either Excel or Acess to pull.

With Excel go to Data, Import External Data, New Datebase Query (the feature might not be installed but is simple to add). You can then pull from IM1 and the Vendor Item table and get what you need.

Just so long as you do not have more that 65,000 items.

thanks for the advice but my problem is I need to teach a guy how he can export information easy, and the VI has a better interface than Microsoft Query, you know, when you try to add a condition and JOIN tables, it's more difficult to the user undestands that

if I cannot find the way to use the VI, I have to use the excel way!!

thanks a lot!!
