Is there a way to Just Export and Import the user Rights from one IPOffice 500 R5 to another IPOffice 500 R5?

I want to enable hotdesking and want them all to match. It would be a pain to have to recreate all of them on the other systems.

Thanks,
Scott<-

to clarify, open up two managers side by side.... copy and paste from one to the other.

I tried Copy any Pasting between two Remote Desktop Connections, that didn't work. I didn't think of launchind the App twoce on the same machine! Nice trick!

Worked Great! Thank you!

amriddle01, Now you have me worried.

That's All I've ever used to manage VMPro.

What are the Potential Issues?

Thanks,
Scott<-
P.S.
My Next post will be about Huntgroups that I renumbers that Are not reflected in VMPro! hope that is not it!

Then your lucky...:)

I mostly use RealVNC or Logmein, RDP as a -console is ok but watch it, if you have opened the VMPro client twice then you database can get corrupted. And there is now way to get it back so then you need a fresh install and hope you have a backup then.

Indeed, using remote desktop to manage Vm Pro corrupts the database/call flows, unless you have a clean backup from before you used it (unlikely) then you need to re install and start again. Any .wav files for menus or greetings etc will be ok but everything else needs to go.
The issue shows as Vm not taking any changes you make and at worst you can't even see the call flows never mind change them, also when Vm pro loads if the splash screen/loading window looks all garbled then you have buggered it :)

Is this because Avaya does not know how to lock files on the file system? Should be Windows Programming 101.

I think that from 6.0 and higher the vloei client does not start.
I have seen this happen.
It just did not open because of another session already open.
