Hello all,
I have a task that to export station, vdn, coverage answer-group, off-pbx-telephone station mapping, Incoming call treatment etc...to a single instead of each individual file, how can I accomplish that in ASA or GEDI?
Appreciate for your inputs

In ASA you can run multiple CM Commands and export to a .txt file. If I recall correctly, put the commands in quotes and separated by semicolons: "List Station; list VDN;"

You can also specify to append to an existing file. So run your "list stations" and save as "reports-date.txt". Then run the other command and append to "reports-date.txt" instead of overwriting or creating different files.

Thank you 001 for your quick responding but all these commands returned with Invalid error on both GEDI or ASA. Any other suggestion is appreciated. By the way my ASA version is 6.0

Try going under Advanced and use Report. This will bring up a little window where you can type in a command or use the dropdown menu to select one.
It's in this window that you type the multiple commands. I haven't used ASA for a while so I think it requires the quotes and semicolon but I'm only going by memory - "list station; list vdn" But maybe you don't need the quotes. Try two or three commands until you get it right.

You then have three options: Screen Capture to a printer, Export screen capture to file, or Export fields to file. Select "Export screen capture to file" to open up additional fields.
Enter the appropriate directory and file name and select "Append to existing file" so that each sequential command doesn't overwrite the previous.

One of the things I did way back when is list out all the commands I wanted to run in Notepad and get the format correct, then just copy-paste the whole thing into the Report command field. That was a lot easier than trying to type everything out in that tiny little space.

If you can, go to the Avaya Support site and download the latest Site Administration service pack - SP14 ? It's not much but if you are still only at the vanilla 6.0 then you may find some improvements.

Something else to consider is using System Manager for your reports - If your system is new enough. You may find it a lot easier to get the information you want.

No quotes required on the report commands.

The report feature (per Avaya Engineers) should be able to run any command you can use in GEDI, and allows stacking commands by placing a semi-colon between commands. There is a limit to how many characters you can put into the command field at any one time but it is quite large (30,000 +).

Well stated 001 and Wanebo I will try it and let you know. Thanks

Thank you. Both of your inputs combined were working great. Appreciate that very much. With GEDI using semi-colon between command with no quote and no space.
