Hello folks,

Does any one know how to export the CM patch from the active server? We are rebuilding the standby server and the patch the cust. provided for the rebuild seems to be corrupt? We are looking to extract this particular patch- "03.0.124.0-21591.tar ". Even better if anyone has and can get it to me I'd be much obliged.

Thank you!

The existing server likely has it in /var/home/ftp/pub . Use winscp to copy it out to your laptop.

As Chris says above, you can use scp or sftp to copy patch file from /var/home/ftp/pub/03.0.124.0-21591.tar
to your laptop as well as to your replacement server.

I just ran into a similiar issue with a customer, I had to search all the LSPs for a remaining patch, finally found the patches on one of the LSPs that someone forgot to cleanup, previous vendor would remove all patches after using them.. If the patch is not on your main CM /var/home/ftp/pub directory, then search all the LSPs same directory, if any available to search.
