I'm trying to export details from Avaya site administrator and CMS supervisor to allow us to track changes and roll back if necessary. When exporting VDNs in Avaya site administrator (Version 3.0.8) you are able to export every detail apart from the 1st skill. This information is obviously vital to allow us to see where calls are routing to from VDNs.

Anyone got any ideas if/how this could be done?

I have ASA version 3.1.1.3 and have no problem exporting all 3 skills (1st, 2nd, 3rd) with a VDN export. Maybe you need an ASA update?

Thanks mate. I think we're due for an upgrade.

In the meantime, I've managed to do this through the report feature list vdn. Exports the data comma delimited. Does the trick.

You should be able to log into the Avaya site and download the latest R3 patch to patch your 3.0.8 up to the latest and greatest. If you're entitled to it, it should show up in your download section.

How about using the report feature in ASA and exporting to a file?

Just do the command "list vdn" and export fields to a file, comma deliminated?

Quoting only proves you know how to cut and paste.

I run a VDN report in ASA very often and heres what I do:

1) Click Export Data
2) Choose VDN
3) Then under filter, I either choose a range, 120000 - 120999
or no filter/range if I want them all
4)Then click Next
5) This is where I choose what information of the VDN I want in my report. We use a lot variables in vectors so this allows me to see which variables are free on any VDN
6) Where it says Export File is where I put in my filename and location, everything else I leave as default.
7) then I open the file in Excel, comma delimiter.

Cheers Stinney. Tried this and got the 1st skill data. However, using this method doesn't export the VDN Variable assignments.

Can't have my cake and eat it it seems.

Cheers for all the help though folks
