Explorer Menus Missing

What makes windows explorer (the Windows shell, not Internet explorer) lose its menus, so there's no "file, edit, view....etc"? I just see the title bar (no address bar either) and the two panes below.

How do I get the menues back?

Have you pressed the F11 key, that sometimes does odd things to Window layouts? If so pressing F11 again should revert the problem.

System Restore is a handy little fellow too.

F11 doesn't do it. I only want to use the Restore as a last resort.

The Microsoft KB 555130 may do it. I'll get back and let you know.
