Hello! I'm getting an explorer error every time i try to open up a folder. Any help and advice is appreciated!

Ok, I am in desperate need of help, so if anyone knows how I can clear this problem up, I would appreciate any help and advice! This is very urgent. Thank you!

Ok i have had this happen to me before. My solution was that i had anark media client installed. For some reason when ever i clicked on a folder it would give me the explorer error. See if you have it installed, Add/Remove programs, then uninstall it. Another program that i remember that gives this error was an ftp program ws_ftp pro i believe but dont hold me to it.

Thanks... I think I might know what's causing it... how can I access "add/remove programs" without going through a folder? thanks!

go through start menu->control panel->add/remove programs
if its not showing up right click on the taskbar and go to properties (a dialog should come up that reads "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties") and on start menu settings make sure there is a checkmark next to "expand control panel" then you should be able to get there with out opening up a folder. If you dont have anark media client then sort the programs by install date and find the most recent program and uninstall that. Usually this will fix the explorer errors. That is if you have not waiting an extended period of time with the explorer error.
Hope this helps.
