Explorer acting up

Explorer keeps generating errors and closing. The following message is from the Application Log.

Faulting application iexplorer.exe. Version 6.0 2900.2180, faulting module, urlmon.dll, version 6.0.2900.2574, fault address 0x00061749

Any idea what the problem is here?

Scan your system for BHOs (Browser Helper Objects) - toolbarcop.exe (

toolbars the likes of the google and msn toolbars and more can cause this.

Then run a spyware/malware scan with
Spybot
Adaware
(both at the same link)
