I have running Legato networker 6.2 server on Win2k.
My problem is, when a volume's expiration date is over the system doesn't make it recyclable. It shows the date of expiration, even if it over.
How can I solve this?
Well, actually it did what you are waiting for on my
machine:
09/03/03 21:30:08 nsrd: savegroup notice: Default completed, total 1 client(s), 0 Hostname(s) Unresolved, 0 Failed, 1 Succeeded.
09/03/03 21:30:10 nsrd: write completion notice: Writing to volume ultra.001 complete
09/03/03 21:30:10 nsrd: index notice: nsrim has finished cross checking the media db
09/03/03 21:30:10 nsrd: media info: Deleted 2080 KB from save set 4283755911 on volume ultra.001
09/03/03 21:30:11 nsrd: media info: Deleted 128 KB from save set 4266978699 on volume ultra.001
09/03/03 21:30:11 nsrd: media info: Deleted 96 KB from save set 4250201484 on volume ultra.001
bash-2.02#
As i have only one media defined, it must have been
overwritten although NW does not indicate that he has done
that. But there are other pointers that indicate this
behaviour:
- If you scan the media, there are only 3 save sets
present.
- The volume id should have changed as it does with every
label process. (I have not paid attention to this yet).
