Experience Portal 6 / Orchestration designer - Blind transfer not working.

Hi All,

I am using Orchestration designer 6.x to create a VXML application for use on AEP. It's going really well, except for an issue which has driven me, and my coworkers nuts.

When routing to a 'blind transfer' node, to transfer to another VDN, the call just drops. I have no idea why. I've checked the VDN, and that is correct. I saw on another forum that I may need to add a delay just before the transfer, so I put in a 4 second announcement just before, and the announcement worked, but just dropped the call again. It seems no matter where I transfer to, the call is always just dropped.

Any ideas? Your thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Does the sample app work to blind xfer? H323 or SIP? Are you using SIP REFER to transfer? How does the call get into AAEP to be blind transferred?

Traces of blind xfer from the test app vs yours would be step 1.
