Experience in upgrading 5.5.3 to 6.0.2

Hello,

we are currently using the 2 NetWorker 5.5.3 servers on Windows NT 4.0 SP5 with more than 100 clients and index size of 80 GB (altogether).
Does anybody has experience in converting those sizes of index databases? How long will this take?
Does anybody know anything about difficulties in upgrading?

budget about 5 minutes per GB of indexes for the actual conversion, more if your server is doing anything other than the Legato upgrade. Check the indexes prior to converting (nsrck -F) and repair/rename and rebuild any that are unreconcilable. In the case of an 80GB index total, that's a few hours (7). Back them indexes up beforehand and get started early!
