What if I need to upgrade the switch from CICS to MICS? Can I backup the CICS and restore it to MICS?

If I replaced the CICS with MICS, do I need to reprogram the Flash voicemail?

on the flash when you replace the cics with a mics keep the DN Length the same.

Right. So long as DN length is the same, you're ok. If you do need to change it, (I'd recommend 3 digits, anyway.) you can still get into the vm using 2 digits (if so programmed) to reinstall after you upgrade the KSU.

at least it would only take a half hour to reprogam 16 stations if you lost all programming...no biggie!
