When I had origianally installed XP I had mounted drives for the program files and the documents and seetings. and left the remaining c: drive windows installation 3 gigs...

with all the updates and what not installed there, i am running out of room, down 10 189 megs...

The volume that C is on has empty space i can move there...

IS that possible?

If so, how?

The only thing I can think of is to resinstall windows and re-arrange my volumes (ugh)

This is an urgent matter because I have begun a new class and I need to install VB.NET, but it won't install because of the lack of room on C:

A second recommendation for partition magic in one day! lol.

Anyway yeah, get partition magic. That'll do it for you from windows so no need to reinstall windows or format or any crap like that.
But I do recommend backing up your important data as it has been known to go wrong when playing around with the boot drive.

Thank you, I looked it up and it seems to be exactly what i need!
