EXIT STATUS 96

Hi Guys

I have facing an issue when i start a manual backup from y netbackup 4.5 client.

My bkp master server is on Window 2000 machine, and my cline tis a SUN Solaris 5.8 box.

I have created a new policy,and schedule type as user bkp. And when try to start the backup it comes out unsuccessful with the below error message...

"EXIT STATUS 96: unable to allocate new media for backup, storage unit has none available"

Any info. or help on the above problem would br great!!!

Hi guys

Got the solution for exit status 96.

But now i am facing some other issue in another Solaris box.

When i try to take a manual bkp it throws out the below error

EXIT STATUS 23: socket read failed

Any info on this please

First thing that I would do on this is ...
Run the bpclntcmd with all switches from the master and the client - You need to verify communications.
