Exhange to new hardware

I have read the MKB article 297289 and although it seems pretty straight forward, I am still planning for problems, if the migration to the new hardware does not go as planned, can I take it down, reset the system account again and go back to the old server?
 
That is where FULL backups are for ;-)

That would yes, maybe.. and that is where the backup comes in.
No-one here knows or sees your configuration, and in an ideal world, a yes or no answer would be possible, but this is the best you are going to get, sorry.
