I am wanting to do a new install of Exchange 2003 in my Exchange 2000 environment. The reason be is to put the Exchange 2003 on a new, more robust machine. However, I do not want to start over. The question is if I introduce Exchange 2003 can I do the move mailbox technique from my Exchange 2000 over to Exchange 2003?

I know that is is easily done from 5.5 to 2000 or 2003 but I cannot find any support sites that explain move mailbox from 2000 to 2003.

Thanks for the help.

The migration Wizard does a great job at that, you don't really need any 'tricks'.

If I implement a new server how are my clients going to see it if the computer name is different?

Thanks

For a new machine, you either have to modify the clients, if you don't use policies or so, or ... do it offline and keep the same name, that makes it a little simpler.
Sorry, but there will be 'some' work involved.
