Executing commands prior to backup

Hi

We're using v8.5 and have 2 batch files to run before and after our backup, one shuts Outlook, the other restarts it. We've pointed to the path as c:\outlook.bat to shut outlook. If I run the batch file at command prompt outside of Backup Exec, it works, but when I put it into Backup Exec, it appears to do nothing.

Any ideas??

Try putting the outlook.bat file that shuts it down and starts it back up again in scheduler and set it up to run 5 min befor the backup starts and 5 min after it worked for me using win2k server
