I have an executable file on the server that I would like to be scheduled through <DTS.Execute Process Task>. When I execute this process from DTS it launches the .EXE file properly, but if I schedule it and make it a JOB the .EXE does no launch it just keeps saying Executing and I have to stop it. Does anybody know why this happens?

Thank You

How are you executing this command ... thru the use of xp_cmdshell?

Thanks

Through DTS->Create New Package->Execute Process Task then pointing to the .exe file on the local machine
